Orangefield High School CTE Manufacturing Students Explore Advanced Career Opportunities
Orangefield High School junior and senior students in the Manufacturing Program of Study recently had the opportunity to attend a presentation from the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME).
The FAME program provides world-class workforce development focused on advanced manufacturing. Through a unique blend of technical training, manufacturing core competencies, professional skill-building, and hands-on experience, students are prepared for high-demand, high-skill careers in today’s modern manufacturing industry.
We are proud to partner with local FAME industries, including:
• Cloeren Incorporated
• ISS/Buna Electric Motor Service
• Chevron Phillips Chemical Company
• KSB-Standard Alloys
• IPS-Integrated Power Services
Orangefield High School graduates currently participating in the FAME program include: Vicente Cordova, Fernando Sandoval-Rodriguez, Hayden Carroll, and Alton Hawthorne. These outstanding alumni are employed with partner industries while earning their associate degrees in Electro-Mechanical Technology, with paid tuition, books, and fees provided through the program.
We are incredibly proud of our students’ success and grateful for our community partners who help make these opportunities possible! Good luck to 2026 OHS graduates that are applying to participate in the FAME program.
