Attention OJH Parents and Guardians: May 4–8 is Staff Appreciation Week! As we prepare to celebrate and recognize the incredible work of our staff, we’re inviting students to “walk a mile in their teachers’ shoes.”
On April 30, OJH will host our annual “Swip Swap Day,” where students are encouraged to dress like their favorite staff member, and staff members will dress like their students. It’s a fun way to kick off a week dedicated to showing appreciation for the educators who care for and support our students every day.
We look forward to seeing everyone join in the fun as we celebrate our amazing staff!

Orangefield Junior High is home to the hardest-working staff in Texas! Our faculty works tirelessly to provide a safe, effective learning environment for each and every student. Many of our faculty members received nominations for this spotlight, but we want to take a moment to specifically highlight one of our hardest workers: Jessica Vincent. For the past five years, Mrs. Vincent has served as an educational aide, making a lasting difference in the lives of our students. Whether stepping in to support struggling learners or confidently leading instruction herself, she consistently goes above and beyond. More than that, Jessica brings genuine care and passion to her role—she has been an inspiring mentor and a steady, positive influence for so many young people. Thank you, Mrs. Vincent, for your unwavering dedication and the heart you bring to our school every single day. We are truly grateful!
