Starting the night off against the Buna Cougars with a win was our 7th Grade B Team. 15-13, 11,15, 15-13) Contributions were shared by Sadie Arrington, Emilia Cole, and Aria Lee at the service line. Katniss Mendenall had the match winning serve to seal the win! Taylor Quinn contributed an attack, while also having a successful serve receive in the back row.

Bobcats 8th grade B team had a back and forth 3 set loss. 15-13, 16-18, 4-15. Kinzlee Peveto and Adley Burch both led in serves. Emma Lecea and Olivia Cole led in serve receives. Raygan Brooks and Lecea had a kill each with Kaydence LeBlanc providing 2 assists.

Our 7th grade A team faced a talented Cougar squad losing in straight sets 22-25, 15-25. Allisson Powell was phenomenal in the back court as she had 8 serve receives and 3 digs to keep score close in the first set. At the service line, Berkley Pollet led with 2 aces and 7 total serves. Brooklyn Mansfield and Avery Ford also had a great showing behind the line. Rylie Roberts brought highlights in her attacks, with 4 well placed attacks and 2 beautiful kills. This team continues to learn and grow together.

Our 8th grade A team is starting to click as they seal the win against the Cougars in just 2 sets (25-16, 25-22). Leading in serving was Rylie Peevey, with 3 aces. The back court was defended by Kamryn Farias, Rylie Peevey and Tenley Kibodeaux and Lily Traxler, giving our Bobcats saves to keep us ahead the whole match. Leading at the net was Austyn Spain with 2 kills and 3 attacks. Jesse Gautreaux and Emmie McFatter contributed a kill each. Defending the net with a block each was Tya Hughes and Christina Doucet. Our setters for the match Raegan Gallien and Kamryn Breaux had a combined 5 assists. This win was a showcase for the growth this team has made.
This win gives them back to back wins as we travel to compete in the PNG tournament this weekend to keep it going!

The Lady Bobcats battled their way to an exciting victory, winning in three very close sets! The team showed tremendous determination, teamwork, and composure throughout the match, finding a way to come out on top when it mattered most. Sadie Arrington delivered the winning serve to seal the victory! Arrington also contributed 2 aces and a kill, making key plays when her team needed them.
Behind the serving line, Emelia Cole dominated with an impressive 10 aces, while Aria Lee added 5 aces of her own to keep the pressure on the opposing team.
Defensively, Madilyn Maines provided strong play in the back row, helping keep rallies alive and giving the Lady Bobcats opportunities to battle for every point.
It was a hard-fought team victory from start to finish! The Lady Bobcats showed that when they play together and fight for every point, great things happen! 🏐🐾

The 8th grade B team kept the winning momentum going with a three set victory over the Wildcats. Adley Burch(4 Aces), Kyleigh Kresser(4 Aces), Kinzlee Peveto(3 Aces), and Kaydence LeBlanc(3 Aces) were our top servers of the night. Arielle Walters, Adley Burch, and Trinity Spain each contributed at the net, combining for 4 total kills. On the defensive side, serves were received in the back court by Emma Lecea, Raygan Brooks, and Kyleigh Kresser. Overall, it was a well rounded effort with contributions from across the lineup. The Lady Bobcats improve to 3-0 on the season.

The Lady Bobcats had a great game last night and showed tremendous growth on the court! The girls are continuing to build confidence, work together, and stay composed under pressure.
Ciancaglione led the team from the service line with 4 aces, followed by Ou with 3 aces, while Pollet and Ford each added 1 ace. Richard stepped up defensively in the back row, recording a dig and showing strong, consistent serve receive. Roberts and Ciancaglione also brought the offense, each recording a back-row kill!
One of the biggest highlights of the night was seeing these girls truly learn how to work together as a team and stay calm and confident while serving. Their growth, teamwork, and determination were on full display!

Our 8th Grade A team wrapped up the sweep with a 2 set dominating performance win! (25-15, 25-8) Impressive team attacks, totaled 22, with Austyn Spain leading the charge, contributing 2 kills, multiple backcourt saves, and 2 blocks. Lily Traxler continues to deliver on her back court attacks, while Tenley Kibodeaux stays steady in her defense. Kamryn Farias closed the match with her consistent serves, while Rylie Peevey started off the 2nd set with 15 straight serves to give us a 15-0 run the Wildcats couldn’t recover from. These Bobcats are working together and gaining ground together with each match!

Against the Panthers, our Bobcats took the first set , but came up short in the match. Sadie Arrington led in serves, with 5 Aces. Kayla Rios had an attack, while Sophia Trammell and Taylor Quinn contributed on serve receives. 1-1 for the season.

The 8th Grade B team came out strong and took care of business with a straight-sets win, 15–13 and 15–7! Raygan Brooks dominated at the service line with 4 aces, while Kaydence LeBlanc added 2. On the attack, Arielle Walters and Olivia Cole delivered key kills to keep the momentum going. Great teamwork, strong serves, and smart plays led to a solid team victory! The Bobcats improved to 2-0 on the season.

The Lady Bobcats came out strong Monday night and took the Anahuac Panthers into 3 sets in an electrifying match! Fueled by determination and team spirit, the girls brought intensity, focus, and heart to the court and it showed in every play! However the Lady Bobcats fell short in the 3rd set. Pollet and Roberts led the team in Serves with Pollet having 5 aces, and Roberts having 4. Ciancaglione led the team in kills for the evening.

8A ended the night with a loss against Anahuac. Rylie Peevey, led in both serves and serve receives in the back court. Maisyn Revia had 2 assists, while Jesse Gautreaux protected the net with 3 blocks. With each game these Bobcats are showing improvement and growth!

The Lady Bobcats battled hard at the LCM Tournament, facing two tough opponents and gaining valuable experience along the way.
The Lady Bobcats opened tournament play against a tough PNG team. The girls fought hard from start to finish, taking the match to three sets before ultimately falling short. Leading the way from the service line was Pollet with 5 aces, followed by Roberts with 4 and Ou with 2. At the net, Ciancaglione and Ou led the team in kills with 2 kills each. Defensively, Powell and Kovatch helped protect the court with 1 dig each.
On Day 2, the Lady Bobcats faced another tough opponent in Bridge City. Once again, the girls battled through three sets, showing determination and fighting until the very end, but came up short. Ou and Pollet led the team from the service line with 2 aces each. Defensively, Richard and Beckham anchored the back row with 2 digs each. The Lady Bobcats continued to attack throughout the match, with Ou, Roberts, Pollet, and Mansfield each recording a kill. Although the results weren't what the girls were hoping for, the Lady Bobcats showed grit, determination, and a willingness to fight through every set. Each match provided valuable opportunities to grow, learn, and continue building as a team. We are proud of the effort these girls continue to put on the court!

8A started the LCM tournament off against the Braves of Groves. Leading in serves was Emmie McFatter with 5 Aces. Christina Doucet and Austyn Spain had a great showing behind the service line and each a kill. Jesse Gautreaux and Kamryn Breaux led in attacks. The Bobcats came up short (25-18, 25-20).
Next up was the Vidor Pirates. Such great competition as the scores reflect their efforts in the loss (28-26, 23-25, 15-9) Leading in serves was Emmie McFatter and Rylie Peevey, each contributing with 5 Aces. The backcourt was also led by Peevey. Offensive threats came from Rebekah Burt, Kamryn Breaux and Lily Traxler. Lots of learning and improvement shown by our Bobcats.
We take on the Wildcats of Kirbyville Monday the 14th at home.
In the 7th grade girls race, Hayden Hebert led the way with an impressive 5th-place finish out of 130 runners, posting a time of 14:48. Scarlett Root also had a strong showing, finishing 25th in 16:24.
The 8th grade girls finished 5th overall as a team, placing behind only 5A and 6A programs in a field of 149 runners. Kinsley Greenfield had a standout race, finishing 4th overall with a time of 14:19. Anastyn Gamblin placed 38th in 17:16, while Audrey Greenfield finished 53rd in 18:09.
On the boys side, Logan Read placed 24th out of 129 runners in the 7th grade division with a time of 15:00. In the 8th grade race, Jax Gautreaux finished 36th in 14:45, Easton Snider placed 45th in 15:03, and Drake Loga turned in a solid 15:56.
With more than 500 runners competing across the four junior high divisions, the Bobcats held their own against a large and talented field and came away with several standout performances.

The 7th grade scored two touchdowns. Jace Forse and Mayce Daville each scored one.
The 8th grade scored five times. Knox Mansfield and Chase Sanches each caught a touchdown from Stetson Bishop. Reagan Dearing ran for 3 more touchdowns easily totaling over 100 yards on the night.
