OJH Girls Basketball vs. East Chambers: 1/22/26
7B
The 7th-grade Bobcats B team earned a well-deserved victory over the Buccaneers with a strong team performance from start to finish. The Bobcats did an excellent job of moving the ball on offense, sharing it selflessly, and finding open teammates, which led to quality scoring opportunities throughout the game. Defensively, they remained focused, played hard, and collaborated effectively to limit the Buccaneers and create turnovers. Every player contributed with effort and energy, resulting in a complete team win and a great demonstration of Bobcat basketball.

The team turned on a press and collectively got 12 steals with their hustle and anticipation. Cambrie Lampman led those steals with 3 and 2 rebounds. Raeli Moran also had 2 steals and 2 trips to the foul line as she showed great physicality down in the paint. With this win our Lady Bobcats continue their undefeated season!

Orangefield Junior High is home to the hardest-working staff in Texas! Our faculty works tirelessly to provide a safe, effective learning environment for each and every student. Many of our faculty members received nominations for this spotlight, but we want to take a moment to specifically highlight one of our hardest workers: Patricia Broussard. Mrs. Broussard strikes a perfect balance between high expectations and great rapport with her students. Her classes are challenging and help our students to leave the 8th grade prepared for high school. Thank you, Mrs. Broussard, for your continued hard work!
