Fun Day Poster
Orangefield Junior High is home to the hardest-working staff in Texas! Our faculty works tirelessly to provide a safe, effective learning environment for each and every student. Many of our faculty members received nominations for this spotlight, but we want to take a moment to specifically highlight one of our hardest workers: Elaine Blacksher. Mrs. Blacksher has been a long term substitute on our campus for many occasions. From math, to science, to study skills, and more, Mrs. Blacksher shows up and puts in hard work routinely for our campus. It is because of dedicated substitutes such as Mrs. Blacksher that our hardworking teachers can take needed time off while knowing our students are still in good hands. Thank you, Mrs. Blacksher, for your continued hard work!

Cambrie Lampman had a great showing adding 2 steals and a basket. The Bobcats fought hard, but fell 10-9 for the final. District record of 3-1.

7A
The first half of this match up was neck and neck, but when the 3rd quarter came, our Lady Bobcats dropped 21 points solely in the 3rd quarter to leave the Hornets in the dust. The dynamic duo of Christina Doucet and Kamryn Breaux had 17 of the 21. Doucet led the team with 11, Breaux with 8 and went perfect from the foul line. Austyn Spain showed strength contributing 4 points and 6 rebounds. Raegan Gallien held her poise and controlled the tempo while also having 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. This dominant win brings their district record to 6-2.

8A
Closing the night off with another standout performance for the 8A Bobcats. Contributions from nearly every Bobcat as scoring was spread out among many. Kollyns DuBose led in steals with 6, 4 rebounds, and 3 points. Brooklyn Lee and Abri Marino shared the lead scorer title, each putting away a pair of baskets. Lee with 3 steals, 3 rebounds. Marino's determination and quick feet were a problem for the Hornets as she was a huge factor in generating the team's 16 steals. Paisley Cobb held her position down low securing 6 rebounds and a basket. This team has grown and improved so much and it all clicked for this match up with the Hornets- a game to be proud of!

Season ends with a 6-2 District Record. We look forward to watching these girls continue to grow and learn in High School.
