We would like to thank retired Marine Staff Sergeant Trice Luker for demonstrating to our students how to raise, lower, and fold the campus flags. Keeping our campus patriotic this year we have Abri Marino, Jacelynn Barnes, Jayden Theriot, and Kasen Koonce.
Friday, August 23rd, the ice cream man will be visiting the OJH campus for the first time this year! Starting things off sweet!
OJH Parents and Students: Thanks to donations from local businesses, students with good attendance will have the chance to win awesome prizes this year. At the end of each six weeks, one student with good attendance will be drawn to receive one of the donated prizes. Student eligibility to win starts with 5 entries for good attendance. With each unexcused absence, students will lose two entries. As a thank you to all Bobcat Businesses that support student success, Wednesday, September 25th OJH students and staff are encouraged to dress in support of local businesses!

This year has been amazing at OJH due to the good behavior and hard work of our students. Due to this, Tuesday, May 21st will be a celebratory FREE Fun Day at OJH. This day will be free as a way to say thanks to the parents and students that made this year so great!
Orangefield Junior High is home to the hardest-working staff in Texas! Our faculty work tirelessly to provide a safe, effective learning environment for each and every student. We want to take the time to highlight one of our hardest workers: Coach Barbay. Coach has created dynamic lesson plans to address learning gaps for his students, written positive reinforcement notes for students and staff, and has already reorganized and created new learning goals for next school year. Thank you Coach for making OJH shine brighter!
