5th grade raced against the clock by working together to write a program, one instruction at a time, in their Relay Programming lesson in Technology. Teamwork is very important in computer science. Teams write and debug code with each other, instead of working as individuals. This activity showed students to work together while trying to be as efficient as possible.

Ms. Shannon King's 5th grade history students paired some puzzle learning fun with their state abbreviations and state capitals lessons. They played an online game to learn the geography of the U.S. and the location of each state then put their learning to work to get several different kinds of U.S.A. puzzles together. Students did a great job working together and using different ideas to figure out the best way to solve the puzzles!
