It's official: We're Topped Out! 🏗️
The final beam is now in place for the new elementary school building, the largest structure in our bond project! Before it was hoisted up, our students and staff had the special opportunity to sign the beam, leaving their permanent mark on this historic structure.
This "topping out" is a massive accomplishment that signifies the completion of the main structure. We celebrated the hard work of our incredible construction team and all the skilled trades who have been bringing this bond-funded vision to life.
Thank you to the entire community for voting for the bond and making projects like this a reality! We can't wait to see the next phase take shape.🧡

Our 5th Graders Got Jazzy!
Last night, our talented 5th graders took us on a musical journey through the history of jazz with their incredible performance, Jazz. Jam-packed with jazz history, fun facts, and classic tunes, the program celebrated everything from ragtime and blues to swing and big band styles.
A huge thank-you goes out to everyone who helped make this program possible - our amazing music teacher, supportive parents and families, administrators, and staff. Your encouragement keeps the music alive at OES!

Get ready for a cozy start to the week! For just $2, students can wear their pajamas, hats, or both to school on Monday, October 13.
This fun dress-down day might make that early morning wake-up just a little easier!
Don’t forget your $2 and your favorite hat or PJs!
