Our elementary students did an amazing job representing our school at the UIL District Meet hosted by Buna Elementary this week! We’re so proud of everyone who competed and showcased their hard work and talent. Our students earned some incredible placements! Take a look at the results in the images below.
Orangefield Elementary celebrated students’ commitment to daily attendance with a special trip to The ORC skating rink. One hundred students from Pre-K through fifth grade enjoyed time on the rink, whether they were learning to skate for the first time or showcasing their skills. After skating, students enjoyed lunch before returning to campus. This event provided a fun and meaningful way to recognize and encourage consistent attendance.
Congratulations to our Kindergarten Sight Word Stars for their hard work and dedication! They have successfully mastered 100% of the sight words, color words, and numbers introduced so far this school year. We are so proud of them!

Fourth-grade students completed their Native American Artifact project to close out their social studies unit on Native Americans in Texas. The students created an artifact made or used by a Native American tribe from one of Texas's regions. Along with the artifact, each student wrote a report about the tribe that included the culture, diet, shelter, and way of life of that particular tribe. The students enjoyed learning about the beginnings of this incredible state we call home!
Elementary Friends! Get ready for a week full of holiday cheer with our Christmas Dress-Up Days next week! We can’t wait to see all the festive outfits and smiling faces!
This Friday, December 5th, students may wear hats and/or pajamas for $2 to make coming to school a little easier and a lot more fun!

Due to the early release schedule and adjustments to our lunch times, OES will not be hosting lunch visitors on Thursday, November 20, 2025. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Our fourth graders did an incredible job honoring our veterans during Monday night’s Veterans Day Program! Their hard work and heartfelt performances made for a truly special evening.
