Pre-K has been learning about Transportation and Community Helpers. We would like to thank Walker Donnaud with Ironwood Trucking for allowing our little Bobcats to “drive” his dump truck, the local Firefighters for the fire safety lesson, and Mayor Larry Spears for sharing with us what’s it like to be a mayor. Thank you to all our Community Helpers!

October is National Principal's Month! We appreciate our hard working campus principal and assistant principals! Thank you for all you do for our students and our school! We Believe!

It's Homecoming Week!

Fifth grade members of the Student Leadership Team had the opportunity to choose to read with first graders during their recess time on Fridays. The Reading Buddy program has become a fun way for our older students to serve the younger students.

Second grade students at Orangefield Elementary learned about proper handwashing from Mrs. VanHuis and her group of seniors at OHS. The soon-to-be graduates and future healthcare workers were able to demonstrate how easily germs are spread. They also taught them how and when to wash their hands in order to prevent yucky germs from entering their body. It was a fun, hands on presentation that these kids will remember! Thank you Mrs. VanHuis and your group of seniors for teaching us about staying healthy!

Just a few reminders for OES parents:
Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4th, is College Day. Please wear a shirt to represent your favorite college or trade school.
Also, all Project Graduation HOCO Treat Box orders are due this Friday, October 6th.
