
Kindergarten students had an exciting week exploring apples and the letter Aa! They enjoyed making homemade applesauce, tasting a variety of apple types, and participating in hands-on activities!





The Kiwanis Club of Orange donated $500 to Orangefield Elementary. The money will be used to purchase books.

Mrs. Mendoza’s 5th-grade homeroom class engaged in a collaborative project for homecoming, where all students contributed to creating a large mum display. This initiative fostered a sense of community and positively impacted the classroom culture. Alongside the mum display, the students researched significant historical events that have shaped Orangefield, which they then used to create Google Slide presentations. Additionally, while working on the display, the students enhanced their understanding of measurement through a practical math lesson.

Our Kindergarten students have been learning so much during their Technology rotation in specials! This week, they put their new skills to the test by getting on the computers for the first time. They practiced opening a web browser, maximizing the window, joining a Google Classroom, and sharpening their mouse skills with a fun drag-and-drop jigsaw puzzle. Mrs. LeBouef is so proud of how quickly they’re picking things up!

Kindergarten students wrapped up their study on the letter 'T' and Transportation with a fun and tasty treat! The kids enjoyed a themed snack to celebrate what they've learned about different modes of transportation. What a great way to end the week and bring learning to life!

Fourth-grade math classes have been learning how to add and subtract decimals. Earlier this week, teachers put together a "Taco Tuesday" day for the students to engage in learning. Students could enjoy queso and salsa while using a menu to answer word problems.








This week, our Pre-K classes had an apple-tastic adventure! From crafting creative apple art, tasting a variety of apples, and graphing our favorites to counting apples and ending with a delicious homemade apple snack, it was a week full of fun and learning!





Mrs. Abshire & Mrs. Miller’s fifth-grade science students investigated the properties of mixtures through hands-on experimentation in the LAB.
