Mrs. Mendoza’s 5th-grade homeroom class engaged in a collaborative project for homecoming, where all students contributed to creating a large mum display. This initiative fostered a sense of community and positively impacted the classroom culture. Alongside the mum display, the students researched significant historical events that have shaped Orangefield, which they then used to create Google Slide presentations. Additionally, while working on the display, the students enhanced their understanding of measurement through a practical math lesson.

Our Kindergarten students have been learning so much during their Technology rotation in specials! This week, they put their new skills to the test by getting on the computers for the first time. They practiced opening a web browser, maximizing the window, joining a Google Classroom, and sharpening their mouse skills with a fun drag-and-drop jigsaw puzzle. Mrs. LeBouef is so proud of how quickly they’re picking things up!
