
Fourth-grade math classes have been learning how to add and subtract decimals. Earlier this week, teachers put together a "Taco Tuesday" day for the students to engage in learning. Students could enjoy queso and salsa while using a menu to answer word problems.








This week, our Pre-K classes had an apple-tastic adventure! From crafting creative apple art, tasting a variety of apples, and graphing our favorites to counting apples and ending with a delicious homemade apple snack, it was a week full of fun and learning!





Mrs. Abshire & Mrs. Miller’s fifth-grade science students investigated the properties of mixtures through hands-on experimentation in the LAB.

On Wednesday, September 11th, Orangefield Elementary will celebrate Patriots' Day and Texas First Responders Day by wearing red, white, and blue!


Kindergarten wrapped up their learning about the letter G with a Glow Party!






Students from Mrs. Angelle's, Mrs. Best's, and Mrs. Verrett's 3rd-grade science classes participated in a Matter Science experiment to conclude their unit. They combined vinegar (liquid) and baking soda (solid) to create a gas, resulting in inflating their balloons. They also recorded their data, following the steps of the scientific method!

Alumni Kaci Wright joined Mrs. Michael's class to speak about community helpers. She reviewed dental hygiene and how to keep teeth clean and healthy!
